National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia, jointly with "the Sustainable Artisanal Mining” project of the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency and Association of Local Media, conducted ‘Human rights based approach and media’ training for provincial journalists on 23 March 2016.
This training aims at raising human rights awareness of journalists and staff of provincial media organizations, shaping human rights based approach in their activities, and providing them with assistance in delivering any information and correspondence by making analysis with human rights perspectives.
The training was attended by 50 journalists working in TV channels, newspapers, and websites in 21 provinces and was conducted by members of Journalists Club of the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia and members of Media Council as well as NHRCM staff members.
