NHRCM conducted training on “Human rights based approach and methodology” for the officers of the Ministry of Population Development and Social Welfare, Agency of Social Welfare and Service, Social Insurance Authority, National Authority for Children, and National Rehabilitation and Development Center on 22 January 2014.

The training, held with the support of the UNDP, aims to develop human rights based approach in public servants and provide them with support in fulfilling their duties through human rights based approach and methods. During the training the participants got involved in the sessions on basic concepts and principles of human rights, issues related to the rights of the persons with disabilities, and methods to make analysis in the implementation of the state policy on the development of population from human rights perspective.
