NHRCM team worked in prison 403 and conducted human rights training for its staff on 25 April 2014.
During the training the prison staff was given information on the topics such as “Basic concepts of human rights,” “Human rights based approach and methodology,” “Ensuring human rights in imprisonment sentence,” “Prisoners’ rights to be free from forced labour,” and “Ethics and duties and responsibilities of the prison staff.” In addition, the NHRCM team conducted inquiry on the issues of working condition of the prison staff and treatment toward them.
