Trainers of prevention of torture trainedTraining of trainers which involved 25 participants from 5 law enforcement organisations was held on 6 November 2015 in order to build capacity of ensuring compliance of the activities of law enforcement institutions with international standards, preventing torture by having staff of these organizations specialize in the right to be free from torture, and detecting and stopping the violations timely.

The training on "International laws against torture and right to be free from torture” was attended by employees of the Ministry of Justice, University of Law Enforcement, Bar Association, Office of the State Prosecutor General, and the General Authority for Implementing Court Decisions. This training was organized by Commissioner Oyunchimeg Purev, Torture Prevention Ambassador, within the scope of the project "Torture Prevention Ambassador”, which is being implemented among the national human rights institutions of Asia Pacific region from 2014 to 2016 at the initiative of Asia Pacific Forum of national human rights institutions (APF) and Association of Torture Prevention (APT).
