As stated in the Law on National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia, the Commission has had Ex-officio Board since 2006. Ex-officio Board of the Commission includes of civil society organizations conducting active engagement in human rights field.

The Board plays an important role in providing the Commission with multipartite representation. Currently, the Board consists of representatives from 21 organizations, and it holds a meeting and interchanges opinions with the members of the Commission and its executives and co-organizes events every season. 

This time meeting was held on 31 October, 2012, and the Board members were introduced to the NHRCM’s report of the 3^rd quarter and surveys “Impact of mining to the human rights in Mongolia,” “Human rights and bureaucracy-public service in social welfare sector,” “Implementation of sexual minority rights in Mongolia” and considered the reports and discussed how to implement the result of the investigations and surveys.

Next meeting of the Board is to be held in December 2012.
