Within the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the NHRCM and the General Authority for Border Protection, training on human rights for staff members and officials of sub organizations of the General Authority for Border Protection has commenced.
The first training designed specifically for staff members of border protection bodies was conducted in Selenge province in March and in Khuvsgul province on 10 April. Furthermore, the NHRCM has been working and conducting training on human rights for border posts and units from 22-29 April, 2013.
The training is aimed at raising awareness about human rights, prevention of human rights violations, specifically on consequences of domestic violence, prevention of domestic violence, and to strengthen knowledge of personal communication, positive attitudes, and personal development for the staff members of border posts and units.
