Delegates of the Organisation of the Security and Cooperation of Europe, headed by Mr. Tierri Marriani, Special Representative for Central Asia, visited the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia and had a meeting with Chief Commissioner Byambadorj Jamsran on 11 November 2013.

The meeting was also attended by Ms. Dashdeleg Alyeksandr, Executive Director of the NHRCM.

Within the scope of cooperation between the OSCE and the NHRCM, Office of the Democratic Institutions and Human Rights(ODIHR) of the OSCE organized workshop named, “Women’s rights, gender equality, and human rights monitoring” involving international organizations, civil society, and representatives of government organizations in October 2013.

The NHRCM has planned to cooperate with the ODIHR in making legal analysis in legislation of Mongolia based on international human rights standards.
