The National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia and Open Society Forum have been jointly organizing the human rights public lectures for the purpose of developing human rights theoretical research in Mongolia through raising public awareness about human rights scientific research and its results carried out by human rights activists.
Ms.Tuya M., Adviser to Chairman of General Council of Court and Director of Centre for Research and Information of Court, and Doctor of law, will make a presentation on the following topic: “Development is freedom”.
This up-coming lecture will cover a current global trend of definition criteria for development of a country. Development of a country will not be defined by its economic indicators but its laws for ensuring the rights and freedom of its citizens and a level of implementation of these laws.
The public lecture will be held at 15 p.m. on 27 November 2013 at conference hall of the Government building XI (left at Independence Square). Please see the lecture agenda here.
