National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia (NHRCM) annually submits the report on the human rights and freedoms in Mongolia to the State Great Khural.

The National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia and Open Society Forum have been jointly organizing the human rights public lectures for the purpose of developing human rights theoretical research in Mongolia through raising public awareness about human rights scientific research and its results carried out by human rights activists.

Commissioner Ms.Oyunchimeg Purev has represented Mongolia at Fifth International Conference of Ombuds Institutions for the Armed Forces which held in Oslo, Norway from 20-22 October 2013.

Every month, the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia has been publicly reporting about the work activities taken by the Commission. The Commission held a press conference on 11 November 2013 and Chief Commissioner Mr. Byambadorj Jamsran has provided an overview of the Commission’s work activities of last month to journalists and answered their questions.
