Chief Commissioner Byambadorj Jamsran participates in the Conference on the role of the human rights institutions in the modern society
Chief Commissioner Byambadorj Jamsran, as a member of the
GANHRI Bureau and the Chairperson of the Asia Pacific Forum of national human
rights institutions, participated in the Conference on the role of the human
rights institutions in the modern society, which was held in Astana, Kazakhstan
on 28 and 29 June 2016.
This conference was co-organised by Republic of Kazakhstan
Human Rights Commission, European Union, and Council of Europe. At the
Conference Chief Commissioner Byambadorj Jamsran presented on human rights
freedoms in Mongolia, peculiarity of NHRCM activities, achievements it made in
fighting against torture and inhumane treatment, and emerging human rights
issues in Mongolia.
