NHRCM submits 2016 Annual human rights report to the parliament

Chief Commissioner Byambadorj Jamsran submitted NHRCM’s 16th Annual human rights and freedoms report to Enkhbold Miyegombo, Speaker of the State Great Khural, on 24 March 2017.

16th Annual human rights and freedoms report of the NHRCM covers the issues of the rights of the child, right to labour, labour rights of military personnel and civilian employees of military organizations, right to be free from torture, and implementation of the Law on the promotion of gender equality and includes proposed recommendations by the NHRCM for the release of decision by the parliament. After submitting the report Chief Commissioner and Commissioners of the NHRCM discussed with the speaker M.Enkhbold on human rights issues in the country and exchanged views.
