The National Audit Office, within its
authority given under the Law on State Audit, conducted an audit on the National
Human Rights Commission’s Financial Statement 2016 and the budgetary
performance of the Commission.
Based on the Commission’s financial standing, statements of changes in equity and cash flow, the National Audit Office concluded and certified that the NHRC has reported its financial condition reliably and truthfully for 2016 complying with Mongolian Law on Budget, Law on Accounting and International Public Sector Accounting Standards.
On May 4, the Auditor-General Khurelkhuu handed the audit certificate to Byambadorj Jamsran, the Chairperson of the Commission.
